SCHOLARLY BACKGROUND IN THE FIELD
In 2004, the book titled Mexican Law which Mr. Lopez co-authored was published by Oxford University Press. Mexican Law is viewed as the leading English-language treatise in the field.
In addition, Mr. Lopez wrote the chapter on “The Legal System of Mexico” that appears in William Hein & Co.’s 20-volume Modern Legal Systems Cyclopedia and the brief chapter on “Mexico’s Legal System” that appears in Transnational Publisher’s Doing Business in Mexico series.
